I hope people don't try and blam this post just cuz it has "test" in the title because I'd call this more than a test, more like a animated demo for a movie concept. Looks really cool BTW.

An interesting animation in the sense that it felt like I was watching an opening cutscene to a PC game from the early 00's. It was giving me Perfect Dark and Fear Effect vibes.

Incidentally, I was sitting on a toilet when I watched this...

The concept is cool, it's too bad the internet archive is a broken unreliable mess. I find it barely works when I go there directly to try and use it. All the stored webpages on it are are barely functional.

PolygonYT responds:

Thanks for the feedback. I'll change the site provider to theoldnet.

Bro, I can't launch your game. It says something about features missing that allow Godot game engine to run on the web. Dunno if it's just my browser, but I am sure I've ran Godot games on this device b4 through this browser. The screenshots look cool, but there might be something you're missing for this to work.

Edit: Well, the game works flawlessly on mobile now. And I gotta say, this is a really good game for a browser based game. The controls are very responsive to the point it almost feels like I got a controller in my hands! The loading time ain't bad either on mobile given the amount of detail and complexity this has for something browser based. This game should be front paged or featured in the games tab if it isn't already, IMO.

SleepyKoboldGames responds:

Hi, thanks for the comment! We fixed some bugs and Game should be working now. If it’s still not showing up on your mobile device, try refreshing the page—sometimes it takes a second reload to kick in for whatever reason. Let us know if the error ist still ocurring!

For what it is, I'd say it's okay, but I find the controls aren't as responsive as they should be when using a touch screen. Don't know why that is.

So, there's obviously room for improvement, by the look of it you don't draw too, too, often. Firstly, what drawing program have you used here? I'd recommend using Krita for digital art, since it is totally free, and easy enough to download and install. Secondly, if you want to draw on a comp, and are willing to spend money on the hobby, I recommend picking up a cheap drawing tablet off Amazon. There's bound to be some on there for about 80 USD, maybe less depending on what brand you go with. With that, it'd take a bit a practice to develop muscle memory, but you could always draw on real paper with pencil first and then scan the drawing and trace over it with the tablet via Krita. You might be able to get better results like that until you'd get comfortable with it. Of course, if your happy with the results you're getting currently, and enjoying the hobby that's all that really matters, but those are some tips I can offer to point you in the right direction if you want to improve. With those tips you could just watch and find YouTubers who could get you more familiar with drawing software.

Was this done with Indian ink, different pencils, or just brushes that resemble those mediums via a digital art program. Because if this was done by hand, and without a computer, well, you've done a great job! Well, even with a digital art program, its still good.

Ah, I saw the rough sketch of this earlier. Gots a creepy silent hill vibe going on.
